Hilton Grammy Contest

As the Official Hotel Partner of the GRAMMY Awards®, Hilton Hotels ran a contest for 4 winners to the 2015 57th GRAMMYs®. I was commissioned through one of their partners to build a micro site to promote the contest and process the contest entries.

Anticipating large volume/high demand traffic, we worked in conjunction with WPEngine, to set up a fail-safe, hot standby hosting solution that provided for 100% uptime.

Utilizing WordPress as a framework base, we built a custom front-end form that allowed contestants to submit their entries and upload a short video performance highlighting their musical talents. Anticipating a large volume of media assets, the entry form was synced with an Amazon S3 instance. As videos were uploaded via the form, they were processed by WordPress, and then pushed and stored on a configured AWS storage server.
